选择性实习训练(选择)

选择性实习训练(选择) is temporary 就业 for practical training directly related to the student’s major area 的研究 that may be used after the completion 学生所学课程的内容. 与CPT不同，功不必是“积分” 既定课程的一部分.“它的可选性质允许它用于任何 就业 that is directly related to the major area 的研究, and which is a 水平 与学生的学位水平相适应.

Include a copy of your I-20 ID with requested 选择 dates indicated and copies of all 您以前的I-20身份证明表格.

Describe how the proposed 就业 is directly related to your field 的研究 and 与学习水平相称.

  $410.00 money order or cashier’s check payable to Department of Homeland Security.
• Two legible photocopies of your identification/signature pages from your passport.

What if I begin Optional 实际培训 before I have received approval from US Citizenship and Immigration Service and before I have received my EAD?

Any 就业 prior to receiving written authorization would be considered illegal. You may not engage in any type of 实际培训 until you have received both 移民局的批准和你的EAD卡.

Use of full-time CPT for one year or more eliminates the eligibility for Optional 实际培训.

什么是课程实践训练?

The Department of Homeland Security authorizes practical work experience under certain 国际学生的情况. 课程实践训练(CPT)允许 for training that is required for a degree 程序 or optional but integral to a degree 程序. 被“推荐”的活动没有资格获得CPT批准.

国际 students must meet two criteria in order to participate in CPT:
