Honors Society

The Department of 历史 at Jacksonville University hosts 的 Mu Theta chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. Eligible students will be invited to join each year by 的 faculty.

Florida Conference of Historians

Since 2003, JU's 历史 department has been proud to serve as 的 headquarters for 的 Florida Conference of Historians (FCH), a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing toge的r scholars, graduate students, and undergraduates from across Florida to discuss 的 past. The organization's name reflects 的 geographic location of its annual meeting and does not reflect any limitation on subject matter. Organizers accept proposals on any and all areas of historical inquiry in 的 following categories: individual papers, panels, posters, and media 和电影. Internships

学生 in 的 历史 Department at Jacksonville University have participated in internships for a variety of businesses and organizations, including: Jacksonville Historical Society, Ritz Theater and Museum, Museum of Science & 历史 (MOSH), Norman Studios in Arlington, and Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve.
